Tucked into the mountains, west of Fort Collins Colorado, Stove Prairie Ranch is such a unique location. It was a perfect venue for Allysen and Reid to host their friends and family to celebrate their wedding. Something I love about Stove Prairie Ranch is the size. It makes it feel like a true getaway and is such an experience for guests.

I arrived at the ranch to horses running around in the pasture, and as I walked into the stone guest cottage, the flower girls were already in their party dresses and prepared for the day. Allysen was like sunshine on her wedding day. Such a happy and positive person, surrounded by her friends and family.

Reid and his groomsmen all looked so handsome in their western attire and cowboy hats. The forest surrounding the ranch was a perfect match for their portraits.

While everyone was taking the wagon ride up and over the hill to the ceremony location, Allison was preparing her horses to bring her down the aisle. She had spent weeks Training her horse Marshmallow, to not get spooked by the long train of her wedding dress. All of her hard work paid off, because marshmallow did a perfect job getting her down the aisle. Although, while the couple was saying their vows, Marshmallow did get loose, but only for a few minutes. It was very entertaining.

The views at Stove Prairie Ranch are breathtaking, so I took advantage of the large rock out-croppings for photos of the family and bridal party. And while the wagon took everyone else back to the waiting reception, Reid and Allison stayed behind and had some quiet moments together as a newly married couple. We definitely took advantage of this alone time for some beautiful photographs. Afterwards, it was so fun to come back over the hill to see all of the guests enjoying cocktail hour on the back patio while the sun was setting!
