Alex & Ted – Upper Larimer Wedding

Alex and Ted are some of the most genuinely kind people I have met. Prior to the wedding I was able to meet them both (and their sweet dog) as we spent an afternoon getting to know each other, while taking advantage of the beauty of the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park. Rolling into their wedding day I felt like I was visiting old friends.

Alex and Ted chose Upper Larimer event venue, in the RiNo district of Denver to host their wedding and celebrate with their closest family and friends. RiNo is such a vibrant community with Art, Restaurants, shopping and so much else going on. And having Upper Larimer tucked right in the middle is so unique.

Upper Larimer lent itself  perfectly to every aspect of what they wanted. It was a contained laid-back environment. The venue is complete with a guest house to sneak away to for private moments, as well as a space to get ready before the ceremony.

Upper Larimer has this beautiful outdoor space, including a large patio area where cocktail hour was hosted just as the sunset was making for a perfect fall evening. Yes, and the couple mingled and caught up with guests. I just think this is the best way to celebrate.

Every detail was accounted for, including each table having a hand-stitched table number (made by Alex) and also a specifically chosen rock or mineral that Ted (a geologist) spent weeks collecting. On my way out the door I made sure I chose a mineral to bring home with me as well, which honestly I’ll cherish forever. It is so beautiful and I will always remind me of them, which is even more special.
