My goal for newborn sessions is to make it feel as comfortable and natural as possible. Using a space with great natural light and places to relax. Weather that be in your own home, a rented studio, or depending on the time of year even outdoors.
Babies are unpredictable so keeping your expectations open be ready for lots of cuddling! Neutral colors are always a great option and have lots of light swaddling blankets on hand.
Booking your session
Be sure to contact me as soon as possible. Non refundable down-payment is required to book your date and final payment is due the day of. My favorite times to photograph portraits are first thing in the morning and late afternoon a couple hours before the sun sets. Expect the session to last about 1 hour and factor in some drive time if needed between locations.
Photo delivery
After your session I go through and select
images for a final edit. Expect about 50
images with many of them also in black and
white. Sneak peaks are available within 2 days of your session and your full gallery is delivered within 3 weeks. Here you can download images, share with family and friends, and purchase prints. You will be sent a reminder before the gallery expires. I encourage having 2 copies downloaded and saved for your personal records.
