Jonathan + Elicia Loveland Family Portraits

This lovely family just moves to the foothills out west of town. Their home sits on a few acres of property that is next county owned land, as well as a stream and horse pastures. I love that driving only a few minutes out of town can put you in a whole new state of mind. It was so relaxing walking along the path with them stopping in beautiful light to take photos. The younger two children are currently home schooling and they have been shown how to really take in their surroundings. They would pause and take notice of all the different animals and plants we came across learning important details from their Elicia as they go.

As we headed to a wooded area near their house all of the horses in the pasture came to the fence hand fulls of grass and attention. It was so hard to tear ourselves away from them all and when we were nearing the end of our session all the horses came running as a herd through the field Honestly it was such an exciting moment for all of us!

I really feel that these photos reflect Jonathan ans Elicia’s love for each other and their children. I am so grateful they asked me to their property to capture them on such an amazing fall evening.

Christa Tippmann

I was born and raised in Northern Colorado. I love calling the Rocky Mountains home and using our beautiful state as the backdrop for so many wedding and portrait photographs. Over the years I've been lucky enough to have the privilege of photographing the greatest individuals and families. Making so many memories along the way. I truly enjoy capturing the beauty and chaos in everyday life, and strive to make photographs in the most authentic and candid way, with the people who mean the most to you.
