I met Genevieve at a photo shoot for Tula (a local Fort Collins boutique) where she was the model for the day. We hit it off over our shared love of horses, so when I reached out asking to collaborate on a shoot with she and her mare Stormy, she was in.
We met at some stables in west Fort Collins where Stormy is kept, and we then walked to a nearby trail they frequently ride at.
I pretty much let Genevieve and Stormy do their thing. I was so happy with all the beautiful images we created.
Genevieve is a confident rider and watching her lope stormy through the fields was thrilling. Stormy had a lot of energy and even bucked a few times. Genevieve stayed composed and sat them right out like a pro. I love the connection between a horse and their rider when there is a relationship of trust and respect.
