This June was such an incredibly green month here in Colorado and this valley located in the Roxborough area was a perfect setting for Jason and Abigail’s Red Rocks wedding. The family came together and hand made such amazing details including the wooden structure where they said their vows. Abigail’s J Crew dress was perfection, blowing in the breeze it fit her sweet personality so well. Under the tent stretched long banquette tables with a variety of cakes on each one mostly home made and outside on the lawn were kites and games that got all their guests up and mingling and created a great laid back environment.
Another Christa with a C!!! Love that.
Moving on, Grand + Christa are such a wonderful couple, she is a petite beautiful blonde and he is a tall dark handsome guy, and together they should be in magazines! Spring sessions are so warm and colorful and it fit their personalities so well. For the end of this shoot I was able borrow a friends timber wolf for a few shots to use for some marketing and Lace and Lilies created the amazing flower crown and were sweet enough to make one for the wolf as well. Christa is a stylist at Studio Be salon where a fellow stylist make her look even more amazing. Everything turned out better than I imagined.
One year olds are no joke, this little lady had me on the run the whole session, thank goodness we were supplied with goldfish crackers! Chianne (MOM) is also a local photographer and creative so I was definitely honored she asked me to take their family photos.
Eastyn is such a sweet baby, and big on eye contact which I LOVE! She barely slept a wink during our shoot, I’m pretty sure it because she just wanted to hang out with me.
To celebrate this little guy turning one we shot a mini session at one of my favorite location, Benson Sculpture park in Loveland. Mom was hoping for a little cake smash action but that wasn’t really happening so we just buried his favorite snack blueberries inside for him to dig out. Silly babies who says no to cake?
